The Hotel has a total of 167 en-suite bedrooms, each of which displays the benefits of the hotel’s recent transformation. There is a range of Standard and Executive, Twin and Double rooms. Rooms are spread over both the original building and the garden wing. A number of these rooms look out over the city and York Minster, while others boast views of the impressive gardens.

Some of the rooms are contemporary in design while others are more traditionally styled, but each is equipped to the standard expected of a superior four-star hotel. As an events centre, the Royal York’s accommodation contains comforts for guests visiting on business as well as leisure travellers. Typical in-room amenities include television, tea and coffee-making facilities, high-speed Internet and work desk.
