The Royal York Hotel has a selection of Party Night Packages available for selected dates throughout November and December, included 70s and 80s themed nights. Party packages take all the stress out of organising a corporate or personal Christmas event, and include:

New Year Celebrations
New Year’s Eve at the Royal York has something for everyone. The largest event is the formidable Formal Ball. A black-tie event, it offers a stylish way to celebrate the New Year, with:

For something a little more romantic, there is a second option of the New Year’s Eve Dinner Dance. This function is also black tie, and includes a champagne reception, three-course dinner, and a dance.
The third option for celebrating New Year’s at the Royal York Hotel in York is a traditional Family New Year’s Eve Party. This also involves a three-course dinner, late disco and bar, but is ideal for enjoying a stylish celebration for the whole family.
Christmas Breaks at the Royal York
The Royal York has a choice of three- and four-night packages available for the festive period, an ideal break if your idea of a perfect Christmas this year is a stay in a four-star hotel in one of the most historic locations in England.
A range of events is planned over each day of the festive period:
On Christmas Eve guests can enjoy afternoon tea and an antiques afternoon in the lounge, then a champagne toast in the Tempus Bar followed by dinner in the Tempus Restaurant, accompanied by carol singers. Casino tables will provide evening entertainment in the lounge, and there will be late night mulled wine and mince pies, a perfect late night treat after attending Midnight Mass at York Minster.
On Christmas Day, after a lazy breakfast guests can enjoy a guided tour around the historic York city walls. After walking up an appetite there will be a traditional Christmas feast followed by a visit from Father Christmas and a magician for the children. Tea and Christmas cake will accompany the Queen’s speech, and there will be an International buffet evening.
After a lie in, a Boxing Day brunch will set you up for the day, after which guests can take a trip to Wetherby Races or simply enjoy a lazy afternoon. During the evening there will be a Gala dinner.
